Anyone from Ohio go varmint hunting in South Dakota this year.

My and a buddy are planning to go in June for 8 days of PD shooting.

Wish that I could, I know it would be a good time. I am hoping to make it to Montana this summer to visit relatives. I usually shoot the prairie dogs little cousin while we are out there, the Gopher. THose little things are hard to shoot w/ a bow.

Yes they are hard to hit and that 13 hour drive is hard to take also!
I am setting up a rifle to do 1500 to 2000yds this year hopping to move up from the 1000yd club in South Dakota VHA club.
The first trip out will be for 8 days of shooting then I may go for four weeks later on.

So I am getting things ready to go right now like all my reloading and getting my new truck ready to go.

You will have to keep us posted if you do any shooting out that way.

Like I said I am hoping we can make the trip this year. If I do i'll be sure to let you know how many I miss. lol!!!! We usually grap the rifles after the first couple of hours of missing everything. Good luck on your trip and get some pic's for everyone.
