Just wondering if anyone knows where I could purchase some pheasants around the Ashland area. We have recently ceased farming about 5 acres of ground and let it grow up, along with about 10 acres of grass on our neighbors property. I think this would be enough habitat to allow pheasants to live, but I can't seem to find anywhere to purchase them
Thanks

This should help. If you decide to make some call's, come back an relate the price's you come across. I was goin to buy a couple hen's off a local for table fare. Thought him to be quite pricey.

Managed to see one in the wild this week. COOL! :bouncy: This is a rarity for the area's I hunt.

Thanks for the info guys, it is extremly helpful. I hope to get some out here sometime soon and see how they fair. Hopefully we can get them going back on their own out here. I think we'll have to start trapping some coyotes though if were gonna make it work
Thanks Again

My Dad released 10 pheasants last weekend. It's pretty neat, I've heard them several time and are staying within the 1/2 mile radius, or atleast a couple are. He also got his for about 8 bucks each.
