Too Warm ???

Sirs, This is my first post and I am very excited to have found this place. Anyways, I am a first time hunter. Bought some land with my dad a few years ago, and finally I ave been afflicted by the hunting bug. To make a long story short, I have seen dozens of deer on our property, have some feeders and game cams and the acticivty was unbelievable. I got my first doe a few weeks ago with a crossbow and was very excited about getting back at Thanksgiving and about the Gun season. I'm not sure if it's the warm weather or just bad luck, but I have seen almost nothing for 5 days now. When I get in the stand early, I hear a lot of activity nearby, but it tapers off bysunrise. After sunset I have heard some more activiy, but it may or may not have been deer... What happened?? I went from seeing about 3-4 a day to 1 or less per day for the last 5 days!! It has to be the weather right??

I appreciate any advise I can get. As for now, I'm done until the weekend, hopefully it will cool down and we;ll get some more activity.

Yes it is real warm...One of my girls and I sat a total of 8 1/2 hours yesterday in that 65 degree weather...I was thinkng about taking my cloths off and work on a tan...but she informed me I would chase all the deer away..

I hunted all day Monday and saw eight deer. Three bucks and five doe, all were within 40 yards. The bucks were running with the does. I saw one doe and buck running together tuesday morning and was able to harvest the doe. The warm weather doesn't make for very good deer hunting as far as I am concerned. I just hate the warm weather this time of year. It is supposed to cool off by the end of the week. The deer activity may increase then. Good luck to all

i agree with the warm weather makin it hard too hunt der. i sat all day yesterday and the only deer i saw was before shootin light. saw there outlines but when sun came up no more deer .the area i huntin has lots of deer and no pressure. so only thing i can figure is the warm weather keepin them down.will wait for saturday again too see what goin on. hopefully it colder by smokepole season....
