Hey ladies,

Do you have plans for the holiday?

Ben and I will be taking a trip back to PA to his mothers for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. It's an hour and half trip there, so not too bad. We usually only go for the day, although his mom would love us to stay longer, but she lives in a trailer and it's a bit cramped, plus we have animals to get back to and take care of. It's usually a pretty nice trip, just hoping we don't have the snow storm this year like we did last year. Last year an hour and half trip took us 3 hours:yikes: .

I hope you all have a great holiday, and don't eat too much:whistle:

Hi Heather

We will be staying home for Thanksgiving. The entire family will be over bright and early in the morning and stay all day. I am looking forward to spending the day with them.

Sitting at the computer writing a ten-page paper for Intro to Public Admin.

Wow. :cheeky-smiley-022:

Oh, yeah, and drinking beer, trying to watch some football, and entertaining my pug dogs. Wonder if I can get a pizza with turkey on it?

BandannaMan and I will be at home today. Most of the relatives are in Idaho. We're having a venison roast instead of the traditional turkey.

We had a nice Thanksgiving with great food and family. I ate too much, drank too much, and today I don't feel like doing much. That alcohol really sneaks up on ya.

Welcome SelenaKaye! It's so nice to see a new face here. Nice to meet you and I hope to hear more from you in the future. Venison roast sounds good.

We went to PA and we had a great time with the family. We ate way too much, but we had to drive back home so no drinking for us, but we had a great time laughing at the ones that did drink too much.:dizzy:

I hope you all had a great holiday!

Now who's ready to start their Christmas shopping? I know I'm not. I hate to shop, but sometimes you got to do it. I am making my shopping list, and another list of all the things I have to do between now and Christmas. Geesh I have a lot to do. Got shopping to do, candles to make(both gifts and sales from my website), cookies to make and who knows what else, oh can't forget the hunting:biggrin: . Makes me tired just thinking about:dizzy:

For anyone who's looking to give a quilt as a gift this year, check out the Bargain Cave on www.cabelas.com Go to the "Home and Pet" section, listed near the bottom of the list on the left-hand side.

As of this morning, they still had the Whitetail version of the regular (not handsewn) quilt for these sizes and prices:

Queen: $59.99
King: $69.99

Cripes! You can't beat that with a stick, considering the original prices listed are (IIRC) $119.99 and $129.99, respectively. And THOSE prices were discounted from the original-original of $159.99 and $169.99. I bought a queen-sized quilt ten months ago for $119.99 and I'm thinking about buying another (or two) at $59.99/each just to have as spares or to give as gifts. Definitely worth the $60-$70.

And if I can't buy it at Cabela's, it ain't worth buying. :D
