i thought i would share a bit of a trip i had made to ohio 11/3.

my girlfriend has a male gsp that is 2 years old and never hunted and i have a 6 year old female gsp that makes me pretty happy while hunting. so the girlfriend asked if i would take her and her dog and mine out hunting. we booked a field at OUTBACK HUNTING PRESERVE in new vienna and showed up right on time. Rich Stewart runs this operation and seems to do a good job of it. atleast for us. he made sure we were happy with the cover we had to run on and that i was satisfied with everything. pretty good birds he had. the first couple i flushed and after that they were running and gave us a good work out to see all 6. the young gsp really didnt figure it out at all. he is a momma's boy. my female worked pretty well. she ranged on me a few times and cost us a bird but overall i am happy with her. i know the bird she flused up was running and she gave chase. still it burns my @$$ that she ran it up.

i just wanted to share my experience at outback. if you like to run the dogs at a preserve type place look him up. being from s/e michigan i have no place to run the dogs in ohio. not yet atleast. good luck:biggrin:
