Oct 26 Carroll Co. 12 pt.

Harvested this 12 point at 5:30 pm Oct 26. 25 yd broadside shot, deer went about 100 yds, bedded down and expired. Buck was not acting "rutty" but I did see a nice 8 point chasing a doe in an open field at 12:30 pm the same day. Get ready, it's starting to happen. Please let me know if you think this buck is worth getting scored (at least unofficially). This deer makes 4 for me this year, two in OH and two in PA (both does). Hoping I can close the deal on a nice buck in PA before heading to Alabama to hunt the rut w/ my brother. Good luck to all, I hope the woods is as productive for you as it has been for me. Thanks.

I really like the look of that deer. Congrats. See if you can post some larger pictures. When you try to bring up those thumbnails the picture gets grainy. You might as well score him. You can always do it yourself to see where he is. Regardless, that is beauty.

Thanks for all the kind words! I will post better pics once I get them developed. The pics originally posted were from a camera phone on the woods. I have already purchased a digital camera to carry w/ me on my next excursion. I am not used to taking pictures of trophy deer in the field, but I am ready for next year. Good luck to all in the next couple of weeks. Seems they are starting to fall. Hearing of a lot of big bucks goin down.
