super glue works great for minor skin repair. keep a tube with ya for a couple days or so till the cut grows shut.

There is another product called NuSkin, that also works, it is a liquid bandage. Bowlers used to use it quite a bit. I have used it in the past, and it works well.

Coonie,
Sorry about the finger. You really ought to try the Nuskin. Much better for you than super glue.

I agree. But using the SG is OK for a quick fix. Long term use...not so good.
What the hell am I doing???? You're a doctor!! I will shut up now...:shhh:

WOAH!!! We don't want to know!! :tsk:
Nu skin wont seal it like super glue will. I've used it before on a nasty gash on my hand. Just left an area without glue where it could weap from if it needed. The MD's at work went crazy. I figured the weak acid in the glue would prevent bacteria growth. Still got my hand, and it was easier than stitching it up by myself...........:mischeif:

I got 16 stitches from a veterinarian once....
I had a lot of Black and Tan coonhounds and they were always getting sewed up at that vet well one night while coon hunting I was the one needing sewed up. I hit a barb wire fence at an angle at a full run. Caught it right above the knees and ripped 2 gashes. I didn’t want to go the ER and get raped so I called him. I met him at the office and got stitched up..

Naw.. But I did almost pee on his table when he was a digging that needle around in the gash filling it with anesthetic. I told him if he didn't hurry up and numb that cut I was goanna bite him.. Then he threatened to keep me overnight for observation... He started in on me as soon as I get there, he wanted to take my temperature but as I opened my mouth he just started busting up laughing.. I then figured out that the thermometer has been used thousands of times and has probably never been in a mouth.... He drove me home as you're knees don't work too good when they are numb.
