Perfect Morning.

As the sun started to rise this morning I thought, "Wow, what a perfect morning to be deer huntin." Too bad I wasn't. Nice frost, calm wind and it's late October. Oh man!

Then again I'd take any morning I could get in the deer woods.

yea i woke up this morning and thought the exact same thing. crappy thing is is that i didnt go hunting because i was supposed to have class, except when i drove to class i found out that it was cancelled. :irked: nice not to have class but come on, what more could you ask for when it comes to deer-killing weather?

I think I'm taking next Tuesday, 10/31 off and hitting the spot. Pick a funnel spot and sit all day. Get a look at some of the neighboring bucks cruising through.

Andy,
I can vacation whenever I want really, as long as I'm getting my work done. Tuesday doesn't work for me. I'll be up north. If I take a day off it's gonna be on a Friday or Monday. November 6th possibly.
BTW, I'm not hitting the woods Saturday morning as I had planned. I'll be out Sunday though. It's supposed to rain Saturday morning and I havn't seen my wife in 2 weeks, so I'll spend Saturday with her. Plus it will be a good morning to sleep in. Sunday's weather is looking real good. Let me know if you're going.

I too though the same thing this morning as I woke up early from not sleeping too well due to being sicker than a dog.. Had to get up to get my guys off to work and do a few small things by myself... Id really love to go climb a tree right now, but I dont wanna puke in the woods and get the smell on my huntin gear, hah... Hopefully ill be good to go by the weekend.. Saturday morning in Killbuck, saturday evening near leesville lake, and sunday morning by leesville lake... Things should definatly start heating up soon!

cant wait till monday mornin. my vacation starts and got me a good spot too sit as long as i can stand it. also got a buddy lettin me use his 4 wheeler for the week so im set too go.all i got too do for usin the 4 wheeler is make him some BUFFALO JERKY.good price for usin a 4 wheeler.:biggrin:
