I use a Fletch Hunter wrist strap release. It is a gate type release and I have had lots of good luck with it. Been using the same one for ten years. I tried to use a hand grip type and just couldn't adjust to it.;)

I shoot with an Excalibur wrist release and used to use a hand held release. I am more accurate with the wrist release but liked the fact I could add an extra knock on my string and leave the handheld on the srting when hunting. The wrist release is kind of cumbersome when hunting with gloves and can get in the way when always hanging there in the stand.

It'a a wrist strap. The cool part is it has a "release to fire" option that comes in handy for mild instances of target panic or punching the trigger.

I shot with just fingers, no tab or glove for years. I think its the most accurate way to shoot a recurve. With a compound, I think a trigger caliper release is the best way to go. Mines an old Cobra, don't know the model, but works great for me.

I use a scott lil goose also. It feels good and I have a lot of confidence in it.

i will use my fingers if i lose my tab but i have a tendency to tork the string and the arrah flies away from the shelf...same thing happens if i use a glove

I have used a finger tab for years. I got introduced to a release and loved it. I do go back and forth with release to fingers.
