The group of us Ohio boys at Predator Masters have been talking "club."
Since I'm not a administrator or moderator I could not post a poll at PM.
Don't feel that you have to be a PM member to vote if you're interested in this type of club since this is for Ohio & this is an Ohio site. ;)
Don't let the term "Varmint" in the poll title influence your vote. I used it for a lack of better terminology.

I think that we can all learn alot from other, no matter what we're chasin. Groundhoggers might know a little more bout long range gunnin, trappers know how to read sign and land better than most- it could be pretty well rounded in that aspect.
So maybe just keep it open for now to whom ever we can get to show up.

With yotes all over Ohio, sharing information on hunting them from others around the state might be a good idea. County chapters might work as well.

Seems logical to include all the nuisance animals in my opinion, that way it covers the complete spectrum for info on all of them. Varmint is a correct term you could use for them or nuisance animals, they both fit the description.

We at the lazyshuntclub.org have a real problem with varmits getting in our outsite john and making a real mess. I'm all for IT!

Howdy Gentlemen. I'm glad VV directed me to this site for the varmint poll. Think I'll hang around awhile.

fwiw...i vote varmints and include trapping.
makes sense to me since some of the predators/varmints (fox, racoon etc) require a fur taking permit. including trappers in the club broadens the membership base and brings a lot of knowledge and a market for furs to the table.
seems like a natural association

Hey Rooster: Welcome aboard & I see ya brought your wonderful avatar w/ ya too.:D
Not trying to argue, but a straight coyote club would make sense too. Coyotes are becoming a growing concern here & I believe that, & mark my words, they will end up being as plentiful here as they are out west someday. Personally I don't want that.:tsk: Few people are just coyote hunters & as they rub elbows w/ others in the club they'll find others of like interest.Plus having other interest they'll have something to share. Plus being just a coyote club, someone who traps knows he can come & hear about coyotes & not have to listen about crow hunting which he possibly could care less about.
I'm thinking of a specialized club. How specialized is what I'm asking?
