A productive Sunday

Today was my season opener.....i debated on which stand i wanted to go to and i made the right desicion.....because i didn't know how much time i would get to hunt this year i decided to take the first thing that showed to get some meat.......Well about 6:30 i was in stand......7:30 5 deer showed up 2 does and 3 yearlings......Neither of the mature does would walk by my stand but the yearlings did......to my amaze they were all button bucks!!!! I usually don't like to take button bucks but this was an exception today.....at 7:45 i took my first deer for the year a button buck........i got deer meat in the freeze and i feel proud that God let me shoot a deer

i had a productive sunday seen 2 good bucks one was huge im gonna put the sneek on him this week i know where he beds seen him in the clover field now to set up on him

oh yah i think traphunter is going to go with me a couple nights this week one of us should score on a nice buck

congrats sportsman.... i also got myself a button buck on sunday! it was my first bow kill! i cant wait to get out there again and go after a buck or nice doe!

this was my second bow kill.......but this way i got one under my belt so i can buck hunt the rest of the year and not get worried like i did last year when i didn't have a deer in January
