this moring while getting ready at work seen two bucks going at one another for about 15min or so they were small but what the heck they still were battling!!!!!

prolly sparring,i see this often in early season,usually a big un playin with a lil feller,maybe his son or lil brother...:biggrin:

A few years back I had 5 young ones sparring on opening day. I heard them while I was on my way out of the stand in the evening. I was walking along the edge of a field and could hear them through a row of corn. As I came around the corner I could see them. Pretty cool.

I have spent a lot of time in the woods over the last 20 years and I have not seen two bucks sparring yet. I hope I get this oppertunity someday.

As soon as their antlers harden up, young bucks begin sparrring.
I've seen the sparring a few times but only once have I seen REAL fighting. THAT'S an incredibly violent experience to watch.
