You guys like wading or bowfishing with a boat?

i shhot em from the bank on smaller streams like alum creek but at hoover i wade the res. but shoot from bank in shallow flooded areas...in the hockin river i bowfish there wading the flooded bottoms...never from a boat cause i don't have one

I like to wade the river alot to shoot ,but i also like to float around a shoot them to,the boat is more for the lazy day and the river is for the work out day,But it all depends on the water condition what i do for that day.

I voted for the boat cause thats what I prefer to do but I do whatever it takes to put me where the fish are...

well to tell you the truth i haven't bowfished for several years but i have noticed when i bow fish my hunting sucess on whitetails go up and i seem to bag a big buck...in other words i don't blow the shot on big boy when he comes in for maybe that one chance i get...must be a confidence buider,this bowfeeshin

i voted for both, but over all wading and walking the banks on the river has been most of my expierence, but now with a boat we will see how it goes

Whatever the situation dictates I will do. I have taken most of my fish wading or walking a high creek bank!

I still prefer wading.......I just feel much sneeker......slipping up on them....than plowing into them in a boat and watching them scurry away........I really like being in the water on hot summer days......if I'm in a boat and see a hot spot I would rather dock the boat and sneek up on them.........of course my thoughts could change if CW and I can keep the boat running for more than a day.....lol ?!?!

hey BOZZ the boat would keep going , u just got to get out and push alot harder, he he ha ha lol, i think i got the kinks out of it now, but you know what that trolling motor works good doesnt it

anyting,solid green etc...just don't use a lotta white or blaze orange,i do this when fishin for bass too

Thanks for the tip george might have to give it a try,Maybe thats why during the summer with my big white belly hanging out i dont see any fish:D Have to work on that tan early then

99.99999% Boat..Once in a while when it gets warm I'll get out and wade if I can't get the boat up in where the fish are..I just hate carring them back to the boat...I couldn't vote because the poll must be closed???

This is a blast from the past.... Look at the last posting date. 03/2003. For some reason all the old 'Poll' threads have come to the top. Strange...

Anyway, I'll stick with the boat too. You can cover a lot more water.
