Guys,
I want to install truglo sights on my 870. Rear sight is on, no problem.
Is there a gunsmith tool needed for removing the front blade( trapezoidal insert)?:irked: I've tried tapping it, but it's pretty snug. There are no screws holding it in place either.
Thanks

I installed a set of williams tru-glo sights on my 1100 barrel. I just tapped the front site out and the new one in. They can be pretty solid after being there a few years..Mike:bouncy:

I used an old phillips srewdriver that I ground flat when I replaced the sights on my gun. I ground it flat on the end and just tapped on the other end with a hammer.

A four pound drill hammer popped it loose. I was afraid of damaging the sight.
