i would never pay over 200$ for binocs and of course i'd look for a more xpensive pair on sale for 200$ like i did my steiners...they were over 300...i got em on sale for 200$...dont need any better...:mischeif:

no questions asked...unless hunting in the western states or Alaska...I would opt for the 8.5 x 42's.

I have used a pair of Leupold Gold ring 9x28's for about ten years..I think they cost me $360.00 and they were worth every dime..Buy all the "glass" you can afford~You won't regret it....Wildcat
