View Full Version : I'm Back in the States.
Well, I am really back and still trying check to see that it is reall. Anyway, I wish to thank you all for helping with everything, I did not have time to post much but it was great to get away from things and see that the land of the Big Waly-World was still kicking. That made my Sand Box Vacation go a lot better. Hope to be back home for the opener of Goose and Dove season.
Thanks again.
Birddog out.

WELCOME HOME Frank !!! Thank You!!!
No I was not there for a year but it was long enough, if you are going then, better pack your silkys and cold weather stuff. It gets down right nasty cold then and it is the rain/snowy season, so all the Camel chit is a big mess of goo that will turn to baby powder dust by April or May...
Let me get my cell phone and will give you a call TF. Hope you have more time to get on this then we did but it was great to get on when I could, was a nice mine vacation.

Believe me my job is plush compared to what you do. The only thing I'll be shooting at is the 3D target I'm going to order and have shipped to Al Asad. Might have to doge an occassional mortar or rocket, but that'll be it.
My hat's off to ya brother and the next time I'm in town I'd be honored to buy you a few beers.

welcome back...semper fi...:mischeif:
TF, them rockets and mortars are bad enough. It is a good thing that Hodgie can't shoot good. It don't matter ware you are in Iraq, you still have to watch your 6.
I never made it up there but was around some. I see that if you are going to war: go with the army on the first wave, the Navy and Navy grunts after that. lol.
I have talked with some friends and they are putting the scunion down in Ramadie.
Stay safe and see ya on this side of the big pond.
