View Full Version : Confirmation code e-mail?

For some reason I have not received an e-mail with link and confirmation code. I have tried several times with the automatic e-mail setup for registration problems, webmaster e-mail, and also several e-mail to steve. No response at all. Also I registered again under a "all4abuck2" and paid for a 2 year sponsorship via paypal. Still no confirmation code e-mail.

This is either a admin/e-mail problem, or I have been kicked out because of bad post. However I can remeber I have posted anything conterversial to get booted.

Please let me know what is the issue and if it can be resolved from my end or from the site admins.

Are you running AOL, Earthlink or some other sponsored web browser ?
Some sponsored web browsers automatically pick it up as spam and block it from your mailbox.

Nobody gets booted from the forum for a single post, if it's vile and vulgar or offensive to others there is a democratic process of the 3 Strike Rule. Anyone who breaks the rules of the Terms of Service will be dealt with in a fair manner to all, to my knowledge your id has not come up with any violations. If you do violate any or a portion of the rules you will be contacted by the private message system and out of the public eye, where a warning to clean it up will be issued to the offending party forthwit.

Steve is the man who takes care of the website problems, but the problem in the mailbox sounds like it's on your end. You might try going into the anti spam section of your mail and make some changes. Hope this helps. :)

I am going through withdrawl sindroms right now, not having the ability to post. I will check with my ISP admin to see what might be the issue. Perhaps it is being filtered at the ISP.

Thanks OhioSportsman for the help. It is working now. I received the confirmation code, and did complete the registration.

I have now 2 accounts:

all4abuck
all4abuck2 (2 yr sponsorship)

Is it possible to transfer the 2 yr sponsorship to the "all4abuck" account and close out the "all4abuck2" account?

There was nothing wrong with your "all4abuck" account. I suspect it is a password issue. I had the system send you your password (I do not know it). Hopefully the email address you have on record is correct or you will not get the password. If you don't get the email please email me at steve@ohiosportsman.com I have transferred your sponsoring membership to the all4abuck account and deleted the second account. We thank you for your patronage.

The account is working now and I am getting e-mail. I suspect it was my shareware anti-spam software that was filtering e-mail.
Reading and positing on this site is like drinking coffee. I got to have some everyday and I am back on track now.
Thanks for all your help and hope I didn't create too much of an inconvenience.
