I've got a next build under my patio, but no way to get to the bastards. My patio is just off the ground so I can't get under it to get to them.

Any suggestions on how to kill them?

roll a fogger under there. In LA, I climb up to the door to the box stands and "FIRE IN THE HOLE" makes em pretty sick...cough...cough..

can you reach your arm under there at all? some of that commercial wasp spray in the the cans will shoot up to 15 feet or so. buy a couple of cans and try it.

Well if ya can't get at them they got those wasp traps that ya put orgnge juce in maybe you could hange one of those to were there going under the paito at - or if ya can see the location of the nest drill a small hole so ya can blast them with spray -

Can't get under it to spray or roll a fogger.

I bought some heavy duty spray from Home Depot today. The can said that the residue will kill them for up to 4 months.

I sprayed the decking and watched three of them come out and walk across it then fly away. :irked:

Guess I'm going to have to hire a pro....

You should try after dusk. They return to "roost" for the night. Its a much more effective way of killing them in one shot. I have bent those little tubes that come with a spray can to reach in tight spots. Try heating the tube while bending it. You don't want a 90 degree angle or the tube will just shoot off the can. Just a gentle curve. Slip the tube under the deck boards a few feet away, then spray, then run.

Bad thing is the spray didn't come with a tube.

I'm definitly waiting until dark to hit em though.

IT'S WAR!!

uuuh TF - let your wife do it - tell her ya can't take a chance on gettin stung just before your bou hunt - ha - are they coming out of the same place all the time - like a specific crack or hole - this is no kidding - my dad had some yellow jackets in the ground he set up his bernzo-matic torch and fixed it so the flame was just about an inch over the hole - he did this at first light and when they flew out they burned them selfs up - don't set the patio on fire  :mischeif:

I don't mind one or two, but there are at least a dozen under there. I may just call an exterminator.

We've had nests in our attack that were so big they chewed through the drywall and started coming in our bedroom :yikes:

:bouncy: :bouncy: VICTORY IS MINE!!!!

Took a buncha blankets and rugs and laid them over the areas where I knew they came out. Then I took a garden hose and stuck it under the deck and poured a gallon or two of gas in it.:yikes: :mischeif:

Did wonders too. The fumes killed all but one wasp (he wasn't around when I attacked) and I nailed him with bug spray when he tried to get back under the deck.

With victory in hand I finished staining my deck and it looks pretty good. ;) :bouncy:
