i stopped by Grangers pond in the evening yesterday..if any of you fish there or ever have, then you know it has high fishing pressure. So i headed toward the back and tried some creature baits. like the Yum wooly hawg tail Red shad in color..i got 3 fish only one bein over 3 pounds. i switched to a Zoom fish Doctor worm in Junebug and Wham first cast. 4 pound fish i stayed about another hour and a half and caught 2 more 3 pounders and 3 more under that weight..all the while changing presentation. Mostly a very slow twitch on the bottom even lettin it sit for about a min.

i've been tryin to throw things fish dont normally see so i talk to anglers there and see what they use and how well it works then try something like a lizard rigged backwards or creaturebaits..best is still the junebug worm tho on a very slow retrieve. Anyone else try this or find that in high pressure area's throwin what they havent or normally dont see works better?

Sounds like you had some fun with the plastic!
I've been fishing the heavy pressure areas with a 1/16 oz roostertail this year and doing pretty good.
