Ground squirrels

Does anyone on here have any of those big ground squirrels on theyre property? I believe they are calle "13-lined Ground Squirrel". I think it would a good time ridding someone of some pests. I suppose they're legal to shoot. Now that I think about it I have never read anything in the laws about them. I hear they are mostly in NW Ohio.

we got them around here , they are found pretty much scattered all over the western half of ohio. say from the scioto river and west. ross county fairgrounds gravel parking lot is over run with them , or was anyway a few years ago. i use to have a huge colony of them in my 5 acre yard when i lived near jeffersonville. they are a challenge to shoot with a .22 , there not very big. they call them 13 lined but they are really 26 lined .
