DO NOT PURCHASE THE SUMMIT SKIN ACCESSORY PACKAGE!

http://www.summitstands.com/catalog....tFeaturedItems

This product does not work!

The glue that holds these Summit Skins to the stand does not hold!

After purchasing the Summit Skins Accessory Package from Summit, I applyed them to a fairly new Razor X5 that I washed and cleaned before appllication. Within an hour the Skins started to peel off! Regardless of what I do the Skins will not stay on. To make things worse, if you let the stand sit in the sun on a warm day, just about all of the Skins will peel (fall) off.

The good news is that when they do fall off, they leave no mess on the stand!

So, as the Skins peel and fall off I have been trashing them, slowly throwing my $37.59 (tax and shipping included in the $29.99 price) in the garbage can!

My neighbor who works in Fisherman's Warehouse in their archery department told me he can't get the Summit Skins to stay on the new models they got this year either!

The instructions which comes with the Summit Skins say the adhesive is "aggressive," and once applied will be difficult to remove! Bull-Crap! I'd say Summit has some major problems with this product!

No I haven't contacted Summit. I was at first, but as the Skins peels off it is virtually no good after that. There is no way to keep the Skins with all that sticky goo in it.

I thought about putting some in an envelope and sending it back, Summit does have a return policy, but I decided the trouble wasn't worth the $30 bucks to me.

I will most likely sent them an email telling them of the problem. In the past I have sent two emails to Summit, both have gone unanswered and I assume the same would happen in this case!

As crappy as this product is, I'm sure they will get the message soon enough!

Summit's customer service is top notch. Give them a call and I'll bet they'll replace them for you or refund your money.

After visiting a number of pro archery shops in the central Ohio area, then seeing the Summit Skins peeling from the newly set up 2006 SS Tree Stands, I decided Summit must already know about this defective adhesive problem so I called Summit.

I was immediately informed that a large quantity of Summit Skins were sent to dealers and customers. The lady in technical service at Summit took my name, address, and order number of my Skins, and said a new set would be sent immediately!

Amazing!
