I took my son today for his first 3d shoot and my second 3d shoot. It was just a fun 3d shoot with 30 deer targets. I let him shoot between 5 and 25 feet away just so he could get a taste, hit some targets and have FUN. He did really enjoy the time out there and afterwards wanted to shoot some at the target range. He got a Archery Medal/Ribbon for being his first time and we also got our name drawn to pick a prize out of the tub.
This was my second shoot ever and first time to Nelson Ledges. It was fun and I shot ok, scored a 216. The course was a little muddy and I'd say 70% in the woods. The bugs were out thick.
They have another shoot in 2 weeks.
