What is the furthest you have ever shoot a whitetail deer with a bow and arrow (crossbow included)?

Doe, opening morning of bow season, 28 yards unfortulently i missed judged the distance thought it was 20 and hit a bone below the lungs, therefore we never found her, but now i have a rangefinder:bouncy:

20 yards is 20 yards froma tree stand and it doesn't matter how fast a bow is if you do notshoot for the correct yardage from a stand it will be bad.;)
Knowing the range is a very big plus, and now the range finders are better than ever.

about 25 yards...im only 18 and have only killed a handfull with a bow. No shots over 25 yards yet
