When I left the house this morning I wasn`t sure what I was doing. By 8:45 I had it figured out, I was groundhog hunting. Shot my first groundhog of the year this morning. He was crossing a large field covered with snow when I spoted him. By the time I parked the Jeep and got out he was in a fience row. When he seen me comeinghe ran down the fience row and climbed a tree to wait for me. Wrong thing for him to do. Believe it or not I saw a second one cleaning out his hole about 1/4 mi. from the first. He dove in his hole befor I could stop. One down and many more to go.

When I had a broken hip and was in a wheelchair, my dad shot a rabid one with a .22 that was crawling TOWARDS me. My dad was standing behind me shooting away from me, but the thing was crawling TOWARDS me. It still gives me the heepy jeebies.

Lol Bootlegger, if you have some whistlepigs to get rid of, I have a .22 that will do the job!
