Tips for Paint Creek?

Well, I've been busier than a three legged deer during gun season. But next week I'm goin to Paint Creek for a couple of days. Anyone got any tips for the lake? Bass, Crappie, Cat's? I havn't been there for a few years. Thanks, Mike

Throw a crayfish color crankbait. If you put in the at the main ramp,look to your left when you put your boat in and fish that side were they have a walk way deck for people to fish off. Stay away from the bank and make long cast into the shallow and bring it to deeper water. Send me a pm and i can send you a couple of my fravorite crankbaits that i use on this lake.

I plan on being there one day this weekend, so I will try and let you know how my luck is running. Most of the time will be pulling the kids around on a tube but plan on doing a little fishing in the vening when they get tired (or I scare the pants off of um)..:whistle: :D

geez, you guys are in my neck of the woods. Tuffy, swing by if you get a chance. I will be hitting Rocky one day this week. We are having a fish fry the first weekend of July and I dont have quite enough fish! No matter how bad I hate to do it, I am gonna have to catch some more......)

If you go to Rocky we will be in a 18ft Maxum / Red and White. We usually put in at the South Shore ramp.
