Anyone been to Spencer Lake in Medina County lately? If so, what's biting, and where?
Might head out there to fish with the kids this weekend, and hit the archery range there.

Duffy: Havent gone this year, but i was there a bit last year. With SPenceer, the bass are either biting like crazy or are shut off. NO such thing as a mediocre day there, for me at least. What has worked in the past has been 3 inch mister twister swirl tail grubs fished shallow, in that little fork that comes up by the parking lot. I caught nearly 20 bass in 2 hours doing that one day. Another day all i did was snag shad and there wasnt a bass in sight. Dont be afraid to try Ratl-Traps, had good sucess with them too. If the bass arent biting, try jigging with a 1 inch tube around the docks for crappie, my best day doing that was upwards of 20 fish. A maribou jig or smaller twister tail will also work. If all else fails, put on a small aberdeen hook and a worm chunk if the kids really want to catch something, the green sunfish and pumpkinseed sunfish will jump on the hook.
