The Hamilton County Park Districts Board of Commisoners recently approved expanding the Controlled Bow Hunt Program to 4 additional parks for a total of 5 sites where this activity will be permitted during the 06/07 Archery Season. They are Richardson Forest Preserve, Newberry Wildlife Sanctuary, Oak Glen Nature Preserve, a portion of Triple Creek, and a portion of Kroger Hills.
Flyers will be distributed in a week or so. Application information will also be available at www.greatparks.org. The program will copy that from last year with some minor changes which should allow hunters to be more successful. If you were a part of last year's hunts an application will be mailed to you in a couple weeks. Deadline to apply will be July 14th.
