An "Ohio Sportsman" Mossy Oak hat such as shown below:

will be given away to the member who recruits the most member to this site during the month of March.

How do you get a recruitment credit? Well all you have to do is click on "email this page" on any forum topic you happen to be reading and if the person that receives the message joins our forums, you will get a credit.

The person with the most credits at the end of March wins the hat. I will provide periodic updates on the progress.

Steve, I have a question with the statement that ends during the month of october. Does that mean it would given away this october?

Actually I ran the report wrong. I had it set for 2/1/2003 to 3/4/2003. With the correct date range of 3/1/2003 to 3/4/2003 the report is as follows:

user referrals
ohioguy 3

You might be surprised that a referral happens and in fact it can happen quite un-intentionally whenever you send a thread to a friend via "email this page".

It's not easy to get people to sign up, even when they are a friend that you've sent a thread to. I do appreciate the effort and we will have another contest.
