11:30 Gobbler

Shot this 10.5" beard 21lbder yesterday.Sat in the woods just off the pasture for almost 6 hours before this bird gobbleled.

Nice bird. I am always surprised how many guys quit around 9 or 10 am. My best Ohio bird ever was taken between 11:30 and noon. In 2003 when I was lucky enough to hunt three states 5 birds were popped after 11am. Those early birds that are henned up at fly down start gobbling after 10 but:shhh: . It's nice to have the woods to yourself. Good luck if you are going for number 2.
