Got skunked this morning

I go out to a crossroads of a strut zone and a big grassy field this morning since it was raining, and set up. Was expecting for gobbles as soon as the rain let up, but none when the rain did. Did some loud yelping and roost fly down simulating but no responses. Wish I knew what happened to them turkey! THe ole man didnt have an explanation for no noise either. Try again tomorow

THis morning stuff went a little better, I actually heard a gobble!!!! To bad he was on the other side of SR 301. Hopefully he will come across some time!:mischeif: Im not to worried, Ill be hearing them like crazy on Friday
