Yesterday I caught a 2foot maybee more steelhead in the Vermilion River, there were more running in the direction of the lake but didnt have time to catch them, was spending time on Smallies, but there was no sign of the bronze backed critters, I think it was to cold still for them to come in fron the lake. Cought that steelie on a white maribou jig with my spinnin tackle, i dont like fly fishin, no offense if you do.
