Stonelick Lake

I spend the day on Thursday at Stonelick Lake. The weather was fantastic. The catfish were biting better than the trout. I caught one trout on yellow corn and missed several bites. The catfish were biting on corn and night crawlers.

I've fished this lake since 1960. At one time it was THE lake in SW Ohio. Mammoth bass, gills , crappie . At one time it held the state record for spotted bass....... Like EastFork , I live 10 minutes from this lake. It still holds some great bass and cats. The panfish isn't up to par to say the least, but it's still worth the trip to sit back and relax at this smaller lake (180 acres)........Glad to see you droppin by to cast for a few...:) THE CATKING !!!
