Have you guys been out latley ,been doing any good been busy here for the last couple weekends,but with the temp still being low this weekend if not working Sunday might try it one more time for the year.Just wondering if they are responding???

Hey Caribou,

No we haven't been able to hunt for the last couple weekends. We went over to Indiana and hunted for 3 days and got 2 real good hunts on film:) .

I was able to go on a week day a few weeks back and made 4 stands and called in a single at one place that i killed and filmed. Took a friend along on the 4th stand at the end of the day, he was totin a shotgun and i had the rifle and camera, we called in a double that came in chargin. That made it a little exciting, tryin to film, comunicate with partner, mute the foxpro, woof at them to stop em and get the rifle on my dog on the right. Well, Jim's coyote realizes somethin isn't right and turns to bolt at about 35 yards, he shoots just as i am tryin to get my rifle to my shoulder, causin my coyote to turn inside out, we both end up missin:irked: . It was rather fun but discouraging cause that was some great footage, i still think we'll end up usin it anyhow as a learnin piece. Other than that i haven't done any callin.

Just bought a Remington 11-87 SPST super mag, gonna change up tactics a little to get some in the cover in your face type of footage. Gonna use some 3.5 inch dead coyote loads. Those loads will flat knock em off there feet!
