Do you think OS.com should start a "Big Game" forum?

Where in Ohio and What kind of big game is there besides the deer? Forgive me for ignorance, but I am not from Ohio I'm from Washinton DC. Been here now for a couple of years and all I've heard of is deer, squirrel, and turkey hunting. I voted for it though.

I'm sure people hunt out of state or would be interested in hunting other animals that are not native to Ohio.

this is an ohio site...i dont know if that really matters though,ohianns go to other states and hunt other animals...it would be nice having something where you could get info on other states and animals not here in ohio...but would it be utilized that much would be the question...:mischeif:

I think it's a great idea! Some guys go on out of state hunts for elk, bear etc. It would give them a place to post their pictures & tell stories and/or guys could talk about what their dream hunts would be! Just my thoughts. On the down side, there are pay to hunt farms in Ohio that have elk, stag, mouflon ram, etc.. hunts & I'm not particularly a fan of that. My dream hunt would be a combo AK Moose/Kodiak Brownie hunt up in Alaska! :)

I just think TF wants a forum to show off his Caribou he's gonna get :) That aside I voted yes for mostly the same as others. I plan on Big Game hunting out of state someday, and it interests me alot to see pics and read stories.

I think we should keep it Ohio Game. Having said that, I dont think anyone would get mad if you started a thread about big game hunting in any forum. We all would like to hear about anyones upcoming hunt out west or Canada or Alaska. I plan on going on a Maine Bear Hunt next year, and you better bet I will tell you guys on here all about it, I just dont think we need a special forum, cause lets be real, how many of us and how often do we do any big game hunting besides Whitetails??

If there were a big game forum, I dont think it would get much attention. If you want to see OS members with big game animals they have taken, maybe we need a big game category in the photo albums.

Not sure if it would fly? You have a whitetail forum already. The whitetail is the only big game animal in Ohio.
