I'm going to need an airline approved bow case for my caribou hunt. I'll be driving to Montreal, but Tuttilik flies us from there to our camps. My gun case isn't big enough to put the gun and bow in the same case.

The only airline approved full lenght recurve cases I've found are sold by 3 Rivers Archery. Anyone have any experience with them or know someone who has had experience with them?

yo TF - had a guy ship me a bow in a rigid piece of pcv pipe with end caps - might want to try it - 3 rivers is a good company - usually ship the same day -

I have thought about that, but wieght is a major issue. However that does give me an ideal.

Since Tuttilik has their own chartered aircraft we I might be able to get away with using a large cardboard tube. I could also put my arrows in it too.....

yo TF - that might work - some floor coverings are rolled on really tough cardboard tubes - maybe you could find and empty somewhere
