Can't wait to hear the silence broken by a thundering double gobble. It won't be long.Pick a single hair,(or feather) and squeeze

That must really suck! To be locked out of your own gun safe. Man, I dont know what to tell ya. I'd tell ya to shoot the lock off but that wouldn't do any good.

Maybe you can get in contact with the people who made it and they could help you. But that has to really suck.

Is that what it takes to get a good nights sleep? I dont think it would help with a baby in the house.

Spitfire ...if I had a little one in the house it defiantely would be locked up for sure;) My youngest is 11 and all 3 sons abide by the rules when it comes to guns. They have proven themselves trustworthy in not handling firearms in the house unless adult supervision is there.( Plus it is in the closet next to the head of the bed. Cant have it handy if I say wrong thing to wife. Her whips hurt bad enough.:( :D )

You don't have to worry about me. The few guns that I do have hardly ever get used and they are always locked up. In fact, I have .22-250 that has only had one box of shells shot through it and it hasn't seen daylight in about 5yrs. The gun I use the most is a 1960 something shotgun that I use for rabbit hunting and it's only been used three times this year.

We have them all locked up. I couldn't see not locking up your guns unless you wanted to use them.

I've spotted alot of nice game this winter trudging thru the hills, and seen plenty of that Turkey Scratchin Fever ( a new Ted Nugent tune). :D I'm anxious to get out and do a little calling and a little homework. Good weather just around the corner.

Heard a gobbler this morning at 6:00am sharp listening from my back deck with coffee cup in hand! Nice to have plentiful birds around and don't have to travel far to be in amongst 'em. Usually kill one with the shotgun first week, then concentrate on the recurve the latter two weeks with decoys. Won't be long now fellas, have already seen birds carrying nesting materials...TF

Turkeyfoot,
that sure would be an awesome way to wake up in the morning. Hopefully I'll have that someday. Right now I'm stuck in the city trying like heck to find places to hunt.
It sure is an exciting time of the year!!
