yo mullskinner/coonskinner - could you guys tell me what the brace height for the bear alaskan ( 19E67 - 62" 42#) should be? - thanks :)

Mine Is Braced At 7 1/2"....
But Coonskinner Knows The Brace Better Than Me On These Old Bear Bows He Will Prolly Chime In On This Later In The Afternoon ....:D

start where your feather almost touches the bow,if the feather is into your rest,the brace is too low...brace can be different and really can be so different because what different people want from a bow...low equals easier drawing and a little more speed...possibly a slight loss in accuracy though...maybe some more noise...to me i seem to be a little more accurrate at a higher brace...play with the brace ht...my bows are set around 8-8 1/2...many at 8 1/4...old or new bows:mischeif: ...
