to me ben pearson was just as important to archery as fred bear,they were equals...i believe if they had a shooting comp. pearson would win...but both these men done a lot to make archery what it is today...i do not know if this video is still available but it has some great footage of the legendary...BEN PEARSON...THE LEGENDARY HUNTS OF BEN PEARSON may still be available from ben pearson jr.-box 66,prim,ark.72130...:mischeif: ...MANY OF YOU DUCK HUNTERS MAY ENJOY THIS TOO AS WELL AS PHEASANT HUNTERS...

i think what made fred so called bigger , was the fact that he was a salesman ,

Pearson was an innovator more than a salesman, as well as a great shot. When you think of the bows like his takedown model and the Mercury bow he was a little ahead of the times. I believe he passed on before he achieved everything he wanted to or we may have seen more innovation from the Pearson line.

My first bow was a Ben Pearson so I have always been a fan.
