OK, Georges wood arrow thread has got me thinking of making another dozen wooden arrows.....:tsk: ;)

Anyone know where you can buy footed shafts at?

I tyied wooden arrow once.I like making them that was fun ,but they just were not for me i guess,I went to carbon arrows for the durability,But i really like those gold tips you got there thunder ,Were you find them????But i will be going with alum more than likely.

I bought the shafts from Mountain archery.

The fletchings are from 3Riversarchery.

The 100 grain inserts are from backtobasicbowhunting.com and the cresting wraps are from ebay.

there is a new system out or coming out that makes making footed shafts easy...the guy was giving em away on stickbow for testing...i should have got one...:mischeif:

Have you ever tried making Laminated arrows? There's a how-to article in the Spring 2006 issue of Primitive Archer if you haven't seen it yet :)

check out the footed shafts by "rustys feets" from montana, they look great. im pretty sure he advertises in TBM.
