I have an old Seal-skin tab that I've had around for years and noticed that the hair is comin off and its getting very worn. So, I'm going to buy a new one and was wondering what most of you guys use? Does a glove seem to work better for any of you? or a tab?...Any of you ever try those rubber "No-Glove" things that fit onto string??? Are they crap???...Just wonderin!

everything you mention works...its just what you use often and get used to...i have used them all imcluding just bare fingers(everybuddy should be able to shoot bare fingers)...best back up there is...i have used a tab 99% of my shootin since 1964...i started with a glove but immediately went to a tab,and been there ever since...today i use a plastic tab called the pack tab by saunders...they last 15 yrs. i know that, then i lost it...

As a split finger shooter, I favor a glove over the tab. Not enough finger protection with a tab for me as for finger gets mighty sore from pinching the nock slightly. Most good 3under shooters I know use the tab for a good release. It boils down to what works for YOU best;) Try both then decide for yourself:D ....TF

I can use both a glove and a tab, but I prefer to use the heavier Deer Skin shooting gloves over thinner gloves and tabs.

how many...i have a mess of new (made from bout 1960 to 1980) ones but not packaged...they came in bulk, like 100 hundred in one big box just stacked in there like crackers...i find used ones on arrows all the time that i get at auctions ...the newer model is purty easy to find...the 50s bubblehead which resmbles the newer one a lot is harder to find...but i've run across a few...the razorheads made today and the ones i use are stainless steel but basically retain the same shape and shooting characteristics...:mischeif:

The tab in this link is kind of expensive but well worth the money. The cororan face wears like iron. Lancaster supply carries a lot of other tabs too.
As has been mentioned ebay does have a lot of tabs but watch out for some of the shipping prices..;)
