Joining league

Going tomarrow to sign up for a indoor Archery league. I have never tried it before so this will be my first rodeo. I have never shot a 3-d course either but I am going to find one close and give it a try too. Shooting indoors sounds really nice right now with these cold-temps and all the snow...

Great Lakes Outdoor Supply in Middlefield has an add in the Good News for it. Thier phone no. is 440-632-9151...Cost $115.00 for 10 weeks, Shoots are on Monday nights at 6:00pm or 7:00 till ??? at the Middlefield sale-barn on Nauvoo Road...Starts Feb 20th so he would like everyone signed up by then...

I think you'll find indoor shooting will get you into shooting shape quickly plus a good way to develop consistant form. You'll be surprised at how much you improve with each session wether it be 3-d, dart, or spot round:cool: ....TF

rurik.....Ralph's a good guy....doin real good with that shop. He and I have been friends for a long time. Good luck on the league. If a guy name Fletch is shooting......good luck. He's a great guy and can give you a LOT of tips. He's a 2 time IBO World Champion and a legitimate Hoyt prostaffer...not the wannabees that get a free shirt/etc. from Hoyt. He's been in their catalogs. Expect 300's every week for him. I'd sign up....but too much goin on at work and I'll be out this week in Jamaica....for a wedding and a LOT of Tequila (not a big Rum fan). You'll probably have a bunch of Amish at that league....they're actually getting really good according to Fletch. He'll also be involved with the UBHO.....he's a strong supporter. If he is there...tell him Jim said Hi and that'll I'll be calling him as soon as I get back.
