mullskinner,

Congratulations I know the anticipation of seeing a new bow for the first time and putting it in your hand. The excitement as you string it up for the first time and as you feel the bite of the string on your fingers as you pull it back for the first time... :coolgleamA:

Getting sleep until Wednesday will be the next task at hand...:bouncy:

No Bruce and I aren't related. I met him in 04 at Heydeermans house. He had some relatives that lived near Kentucky, but that was about it. To bad I could have used the "family" discount....:)

I shot a few of their bows at Denton Hill last year and liked them real well too. I am just not in the market for a new bow at the present but you never know. I am intersted how your new bow performs for you after you shoot it ofr awhile. And pictures too!!

What woods are being used for the bow? You may have already said but I might have missed it..

sassyfrass looks good in the limbs,i think its a tracy favorite...i think his bow is sassyfrass limbs and walnut risor...if i remember he liked the darker colors for hunting...

Jim Suttingers got one for sale that is SWEET!!!

I think the risor is made of Macassor Ebony and the limbs are mabe of killer curly maple. I'd be afraid to take it in the woods and scratch it. It's a really nice looking bow and a real shooter too.

bows are made for huntin, made to scratch, scratche does not effect bow performance one little bit...:mischeif:

check the brace ht might need higer if its on the low side...also i had to put my string nock at about 3/8 inch on mine where all my other bows are at 1/4nock...

mullskinner
02-08-2006, 05:41 AM
brace is about 8 1/2 ".........now haven't got to shoot outside to much ...
in the day light to see what the arrow is doing for sure just been shooting in the basment at 12yrds..so i can't say whats going on for sure ....seems to be fish tailing a bit ...i did shoot some judo's outside and they seem to fly ok ...they are 125 gr.. i think......i just got to get some 125 or 135 field points and try them...

coonskinner
02-08-2006, 03:07 PM
is that string still twisted up purty tight,if so you have lots of adjustment to lower the brace...maybe try 8 1/4 or 8...play around with it...:D
