Make sure you take your "Stump Shooting Safety Course" first, and then buy your "Federal Stump Stamp" along with your "Wetland Habitat" stamp if you are shooting in the swamps...I also wouldnt bragg about it, The "Anti-Stump Shooters" and the "Un-Ethical Treatment of Stumps Coalition" will use you as an example in thier Quartely News Bulletin and you will be surrounded by hippie's dressed as stumps in your woods...You were Warned!:tsk:

i shot a stump once and it ran off,tracked it for bout 100 yds...found it piled up in some honeysuckle...glad i found it,judo points are purty xpensive...:mischeif:

are you leagally allowed to stump shoot on state land? im always a little wary because they normally have a "no target shooting" clause on the signs. ive always carried my hunting license to claim "groundhawg hunting" if i was stopped. what do you guys think???

Thats a good question. If I had to guess, I would have to say that its most likely OK to stump shoot on state. But thats all it is...a guess.:confused:

this is a great time tuh go shootin out on the wayne...its the best time to learn the lay of the land...an yuh can see all the trails an scrapes an rubs very easy...an yuh may find a shed an turk huntin is just roun the corner...good time to find a campsite too...:biggrin:
