I was wondering what kind of sets you use to catch beavers? I have trapped them for years , just wanting to see some different ideas you guys have.

You can trap them on public land. Some land I got a permit and some you don't need one. As long as they are in season.

Hey Desperado, I could probably find out what my brother-in-law uses out in Montana if you interested. He has trapped some huge ones in the past. Let me know.

I have trapped them for the state and use Snares and #330 Conibears. He uses about the same sets. I have gotten very large beavers. Some in the 60 lb. range. Got those out of some strip mines in southern ohio.

If I think about it next time I talk to him I will see if he has any extra pic's laying around that he can send me. I will try and post them if I get them.
