Why do you want to lease land in Ohio?

Have you tried asking permission?

If I had a dollar for every place that I have asked permisson for and not gotten it, I could retire.

Bigmuskie, I grew up in Marion county and I have lived in Union county. That is big time farm country and most farmers want the deer population reduced because of crop damamge. If you ask permission, then you should find some nice people in those counties that will let you hunt(especially west of Marion). I would guess it to be the same in Richland and Ashland counties, but I don't know those counties as well.

Also, there is some good public land hunting in Marion and Wyandot counties with Killdeer Wildlife plains and Big Island Wildlife Area. I know these well and would be more than willing to offer suggestions, help, tips on spots if you like.
