Abu's 5500c3 & 6500cl3

I have both. Are they the same on the inside? I got 6500cl3 for more line cap. On the box it say's that it is the same as my 5500c3 but has anyone opened one up to see.

On the box: from dept store.
3 stainless steel bearings
instant anti reverse
no slip aluminum spool
precision cut brass gears
sychronized levelwind system
made in Sweden

The same as my 5500c3(from sporting goods store). So are they the same?

6500 cl3 is made by Abu for Walmart....

i have a bl. 6500 c that is called striper special.had it for years.

Jack is right. Wallmart has a slightly different letter or number on the reels so they know at the factory where it was bought.

So they are the same no lesser quality. That's my question. The reason I ask is the price of the 6500c3 at the sport goods store was 74.99 the price of the 6500cl3 at wallmart was 69.00.
