Hello all...

Hello all. I am new here from NE Ohio. I live on a nicely wooded parcel that I hunt and fish on pretty frequently. I was raised not too far from where I live now and have always enjoyed outdoor sports. I used to run a fairly large trapline when I was a teen but gave it up as prices fell. I fish quite a bit during the summer months and get out on the Ice once in a while also.Bass,bluegill,crappies,catfish,perch,steelhea d are mostly my target fish,but I will set down and go after the big ol'carp once in a while for fun... I love to field-hunt geese in our early season. I also hunt ducks alot and shoot a few squirrels too. I bow-hunt deer with a compound and get out for the shotgun season too. Only use the muzzle-loader if the tags arent filled by bow or shotgun. We eat everything that we harvest with the exception of the Carp:eek:

I'm a NE ohioian myself. Lots of great hunting, fishing, and trapping up north! As everyone else says, enjoy this site. Been a member for a few years, dont post as much as I used to, but bet your bottom dollar I absorb as much info as I can from here!!

Ruric is my REAL first name given to me by my Father. He got it from a History book as I'm told. He passed when I was a young boy and I never have researched the name. I was once told that RURIK was from Russia when it was ruled by the Tarters?????...Is the Info above anything I should read up on?????...
