For some reason I'm not getting cabin fever this year. Maybe that little break in Jan. to Santee fixed me. I've been on the river here at least 3-4 times I think too. Dave is going today but I want to tear into my shifter & get it fixed. Hey, last year it hit 60 out in the middle of March, I remember it well as I had just got my Skeeter back & took it out on the river for the first time. I caught a few nice blues, the water was great, then it rose a few days later & was bad until June:mad:

Wish I could find a place to fish too (warmth is a key word), however truth be told I'm tying some dry flies in the basement. I'm completly out of wood for the fire place, but still have some scotch left. If you saw the flies I tie the scotch helps. Am I now banned from the catfish board? Actually when the going gets tough I head for the bait and I love to catch cats.

This is the most snow I have ever seen. A chair on my front patio has nearly 3' of snow on it from the blowing.

I know what you mean, I've shoveled my front 6 times in the last two days.......and looking out my front door......I'll be at a again tomorrow. It's gonna be a muddy mess when this stuff melts! Maybe this is our spring rain that will run-off and raise the water levels.......then I can go net some shad!
