If you want to night walleye fish, here's a couple places with no
ice. Camp Perry and Ward canal, the water is crystal clear and
I saw some shad swimming around at Wards.
Not much ice in this area of the lake, it looked open as far
as I could see. All the ramps are frozen, so you would have
to drag a small boat off Crane creek state park if you wanted
to go out there.
