I have a Golden Retriever that backs up all the time when you walk up to him. He just backs up instead of turning around a walking away. Funny to see.;)

I am in the process of training my english lab to heal. He is great walking in the normal direction and is coming around to walking backward with me. Should be a pro at it in a few more weeks.

I was always told as a young hunter to make sure beagles or coon hounds didin't get too far into a tile as they could not back out of a tile and would die in there? Never tested the theory -- maybe it had somethng to do with them not being able to back out if they were in a squatted position ???? Tile had to be pretty big for the big coon hounds, but did see some small hounds and Beagles get pretty far into big tile outlets when on the chase :-)
I've always been told dogs can't moon walk very well, but neither can I :) :D
